The school features need a Google account with access to your child's Google Classroom and school Calendar. Some schools restrict third-party access. The school connection is read-only. Steele does not connect to a school grade portal. Any percentage calculated from Classroom scores is not your official gradebook grade.
No. Connect later from the dashboard, or ask Steele in Messages for a secure connection link. Until a school source is connected, Steele has no schoolwork from that source to show.
A one-time first look at your family's connected schoolwork, with no card needed. Without a connection, you see your family setup and what to connect next. A subscription is required to continue after that first look.
Start on the website. If you verify your phone and opt in to texts, Steele says hello there while you finish setup. After subscribing, choose Continue to Messages for iMessage on a supported Apple device or SMS in your phone's messaging app. Texting is optional.
Yes. Cancel from Manage plan in your account. Access continues through the paid month. You can turn off text updates separately.
